Here are some frequently asked questions for a 2nomi life story book.
What if I don’t have a photo for a certain category? Use photographs to solicit memories, but don’t be concerned if you don’t have a photo for each category as you can find stock photos or snap some yourself of objects that correlate to their memories.
How many photos are needed for each category? There can be more than one photograph for each category, but all the categories must have at least one photo in order to promote the full potential of the life story. At least 12 photographs should be used.
What is a photo spread? A “spread” is two pages of the open book. Each 2-page spread should have one photo that covers both pages. You can then add 1 – 2 photo inset with descriptive text for each photo.
How do I get old photos into the template? To add photographs into your 2nomi life story, simply scan or capture images on you smart phone or digital camera and upload into your computer, tablet or mobile device and upload into the easy to use template.
What if my loved one has limited vision? A two page spread is nearly two foot wide and a foot tall so most people can see what the photo is. However, in extreme cases the life story may be of greater use to the caregiver and used for meaningful communication and understanding of needs.
